George has been working in the email deliverability space since 1999 - and has lead the battle on both the spam-fighting side and permission-mailer delivery side. After seeing the clear need for tools to help companies combat spam, he founded Assurance Systems (which was merged with Return Path in June 2003). George also co-founded Return Path and helped build its industry-standard Email Change of Address (ECOA) service. Prior to Return Path, George was Director of Product Management at Worldprints.com where he managed the development of the Image Catcher screensaver application and supporting web site, which acquired more than two million users in six months. He was formerly a Partner at Mercer Management Consulting in the high tech and telecommunications group, where he developed operational experience in computer manufacturing and telecommunications. He holds a BA in Economics from Duke University, and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business, University of North Carolina.

A former General Manager of a $20 million division of Minolta Business Systems, Jill launched her own Internet marketing consulting company in 1999. Her specialty - helping non-profits and educational institutions reach alumni and other constituents via email. As a hands-on emailer, Jill has experienced all the highs and lows of email marketing from the sender's side. Back in 2001 she began to research and attack the false positive problem for her clients. The editors of the Atlanta Journal Constitution newspaper published Jill's views on the dangers of blocking permission email as an "equal time" view against their commentary in favor of spam filtering. She joined MarketingSherpa as Email Tech Reporter in July 2003, and has already attended high-level closed door meetings with top ISPs and filter companies, and authored the new handbook,The Permission Emailer's Guide to Avoiding Filters. Jill lives in a small suburb of Chicago and is married with two hockey players.
